Deep Sea World is an amazing aquarium experience. Located under the Forth Road Bridge, it is divided into different world areas and corresponding underwater fauna and flora. The Reptilian world shows different types of frogs and toads (yellow ones, black spotted green ones, red spotted blue ones – this is all true). The Pool in the main hall displays varieties of stingrays and starfishes. There are regular explanations, mainly aimed at children, about how these fish live and survive. There are tanks with piranhas and catfish (not together!) – to the delight of children.
Deep Sea World's main attraction is the underwater tunnel, which allows the visitors to feel like they are walking on the sea bed with fish, sharks and stingrays swimming over their heads. This is a really impressive experience!
Another highlight for some people are the famous shark dives in the Underwater Safari experience. It’s scary, but it’s the experience of a lifetime! Shark dives cost £ 145.00 for one diver and 2 spectators. A great birthday gift!
