TESTIMONIALS

"Over 100 pages with hundreds of links. It's an entire guide book! I truly am without words. I was expecting maybe 5-6 pages for each week. I have to say that I feel very, very guilty at the small amount we paid for the wealth of information you provided."

"Would recommend this website to anyone who is travelling to Scotland"

Vyvette Crompton on www.ExtraMileScotland.co.uk

"I am delighted with my purchase of your Scenic Scotland 7 days tour, wish that I had found your website sooner. I would have saved many hours of uneducated web surfing and comparisons."

Dr. Jacinta Meharchand, Toronto, Canada.

"The Tours look great...Your site was the best all round site I found during my search."

The Arran Microbrewery (established in January 2000) is located near Brodick Castle and the Arran Aromatics perfumery. It is a small brewery that produces several varieties of beer using pure, natural ingredients and water from the island. A perfect place to buy souvenirs that will stimulate more than just your memories.

The brewery is a small, friendly operation where there is a self-guiding tour, that should only take about 10-15 minutes. Visitors can take their own time to walk along the Viewing Gallery to see the equipment and read about the process. This is followed by a Tasting Session and an opportunity to ask questions. Guided Tours are by arrangement.

It is recommended to visit between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm on a weekday as this is when most of the brewing and bottling activity happens. There is no production at weekends so avoid visiting on saturdays or sundays.

The brewery is not specifically geared up for tourists and we don't expect it will be a highlight of your holiday, but if you're in the area, pop in for a sample.

If you are climbing Goatfell via the main path at Cladach, you will descend past the Brewery so maybe plan a stop here to get some refreshments at their off license and sit out at picnic tables just outside, after your strenuous activities. You will also find the brewery's Ales in most of the local bars and shops.
